OUR Mission here at SST Farm is to provide a loving, permanent home to farm rescue animals and provide a learning and educational environment for both visitors and the animals themselves.  By doing so we wish to provide enough food for our family and be able to supply any extra to our neighbors and friends by bartering and product cost, therfore keeping middle America or everyday society such as chain stores and product marketing out of this farm and teach and learn the true meaning of a self sufficiant farm.

About

SST farm is a family run Hobby farm located in North East Montana.

Happy New Year to all.  The animals here would like to thank those of you who have made donations, as they were able to have a little extra treats for Christmas/New Year!  The chickens also want to say a thank you as due to donations they got 'daylite' light bulbs put into their barn and now get to have all night with these bulbs on.  We are looking at adding some more goats and meat rabbits to our rescue later this month.

Today was a nice day so I was able to go work with the horses.  We finally found someone local to do the hooves so 3 horses were done today. Nip, Tuck and Ole also got their first brushing of the year!  Nip's Mane was all twisted up pretty bad but she let me work it all out, and looked so much nicer when we were done.  Watch for our MEET the animal page coming soon!

Plant trees as Memorials

For each tree that you gift for us to plant I will make a memorial brick and put by the tree that you gift.  Each brick will have what you want - anything from an event, birth, death, or even loss of a pet.  There will be limited space but I will try to fit on what you would like.  We are in need of anything from shade trees (Poplar) to fruit trees, or bushes and nut trees.  When they produce if you wish you will be able to get something from the tree too.  If not when tree trimming is done I will be making crafts from them and you could have that instead.  If you have saplings that you can gift, or order and have shipped, or send a tree cash gift with what you want on the memorial.  We appreciate all you can do to help us succeed on this farm and we and the animals thank you!
